Our Lady of Victory

Floral Park, New York

As the focal point of this historic village outside of New York City, this church has served as the anchor of the main village square since its founding. Its success had pushed the church beyond its capacity to facilitate all of the parishioners.

This English-Gothic style church expanded through the extension of the existing narthex and through the addition of a transept, providing additional seating, accessible entry and elevator, a bathroom, and updated mechanical systems.

Additionally, the entire interior of the church had suffered a 1960s “update,” which had removed much of the aesthetic character. Therefore, the primary focus was upon returning much of the former glory to this charming parish church.
