Franck & Lohsen Architects

Since 1990, Michael Franck has put his expertise in classical architecture and traditional town planning to use through creating projects for a broad range of clients including residential, institutional and ecclesiastical. Since founding Franck & Lohsen, Architects in 2001, he has earned distinction for his timeless and elegant designs, often with buildings or regions that are highly sensitive to their historic nature.

Michael has a particular talent for sketching and keeps a design sketchbook for most projects. In meetings with clients and the team, he can rapidly depict design ideas and intent in sketch form, thus helping to communicate design ideas in three dimensions so that everyone understands each facet of the project before proceeding to the next step.

Michael takes a hands-on approach by monitoring construction throughout the process to ensure that it faithfully maintains the design intent.

Michael is a licensed architect in numerous States and has been accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
